The Director Steve King first brought Avalon back in 2008, with the view of growing and enhancing the business using his vast knowledge and experience within the engineering sector.

He initiated this journey by establishing a new workspace in Andover and modernising the couch design, to include an updated electrical state-of-the-art Linak system.

Since then, Avalon has experienced continuous growth, collaborating with its sister company, Cresswell Engineering Services Limited, where Steve’s son, Matt King, has taken on the role of Workshop Manager.

Steve’s Daughter, Larissa joined the family business in 2022 working alongside her father as Sales and Marketing Manager to further support Avalon’s growth.

Bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the family business, Larissa and Matt blend their modern insights with Steve’s wealth of knowledge.

Avalon has since undergone a complete transformation. With a refreshed brand identity, a modernised website, and an exciting new chapter, marked by the relocation to a larger, custom-designed unit in Westbury, Wiltshire, just a stone’s throw from Cresswell Engineering.

This new workspace not only houses an extensive workshop but also features a large showroom boasting the full electric treatment couch range. This expansion offers a hands-on, personal experience, allowing customers to explore the latest in comfort, functionality, and design. Clients can trial couches to ensure they find the perfect match for their business requirements — a testament to Avalon’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

With their in-house team of fully trained engineers, Avalon are proud to offer unique services including installation, maintenance, and repairs if ever required.
